How to become a Diplomate

First things to consider

ECVPH is the EUROPEAN COLLEGE OF VETERINARY PUBLIC HEALTH. Therefore, candidates have to be qualified to practice veterinary medicine in a European country, or to present evidence of veterinary education and training which in the judgement of the Council is an equivalent qualification. Diplomates of the College play an important role in the training of new candidates. Candidates are therefore advised to contact a Diplomate working in the home institution or on a related field to obtain guidance.

Residency Programmes and Courses

Residency programmes are typically tailored to the professional needs and interests of the candidates.

Certification & Renewal - Re-evaluation procedure

Every 5 years, a Diplomate must submit a request for re-evaluation to the Credentials Committee of the College. This request should be accompanied by the portfolio of activities over those past 5 years meeting the requirements.
